Refund Policy
Last updated: November 2026
We want you to get real value from Recipeek. If Premium isn't for you, here's how refunds work.
1. 14-day refund for EU consumers
If you're a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days of buying it — no reason required. Contact us within that window and we'll refund the full amount to the original payment method.
Note: by starting to use Premium features (unlimited extractions, translations, etc.), you may be asked to acknowledge that performance begins during the withdrawal period. We still honour the 14-day refund even if you've used the Service in that time.
2. Outside the EU
If you're not in the EU/EEA, we still offer refunds within 14 days of purchase for annual plans and within 7 days for monthly plans as a matter of goodwill. After that, we handle cases individually — write to us if something feels wrong.
3. Renewals
Recurring renewals are not automatically refundable, because you can cancel from Settings before a renewal charge. If a renewal charge surprises you and you contact us within 14 days without having used Premium features in the new period, we'll refund it.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@recipeek.app from the address on your Recipeek account. Include the order ID (from your Paddle receipt) or the email used at checkout. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
Because Paddle is our Merchant of Record, the refund is issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. Funds typically arrive within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
5. What's not refundable
We can't refund subscriptions that were cancelled and then re-purchased after clear notice of terms. We can't refund charges older than the windows above unless required by local law.
