Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of Monplat (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. Please read carefully — if you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

Monplat is operated by HOMI EMPREENDIMENTOS LTDA, CNPJ 40.493.047/0001-59, [[FULL_ADDRESS_PLACEHOLDER]], Brazil. Contact: hello@monplat.app. Subscriptions are sold and invoiced by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record.

2. What Monplat is

Monplat turns publicly available cooking videos and recipe pages into structured recipes you can save, translate, scale, and cook from. We use large language models and content extraction to do this.

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. Extracted recipes are our best-effort interpretation of source content and may contain mistakes — always use judgement in the kitchen, especially for temperatures, allergens, and cooking times.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent for saved recipes, cookbooks, notes and shopping list.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to extract private, paywalled, or non-public content; (b) resell, scrape, or systematically export the Service; (c) upload content that infringes third-party rights; (d) use the Service to build a competing dataset or model; (e) abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent authentication.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that materially breach these rules.

5. Content and creator credit

Monplat always links back to the original video or recipe page. We attribute the creator handle and preserve access to the source so you can watch and support the creator. Extracted text is a summary of publicly posted content; if you are a creator and want a recipe removed, contact us and we will comply promptly.

Personal notes, cookbook names, and any content you create in the app belong to you. You grant us the minimum licence necessary to store and display it back to you.

Recipes extracted from publicly available videos may be added to the public Monplat library, always credited to the original creator and never with any reference to the user who extracted them.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Premium is offered as an Annual plan (€29.90/year) or a Monthly plan (€6.90/month). Prices are in EUR and VAT is included where required.

Free trial and automatic billing. New subscribers may be offered a free trial: 7 days on the standard Annual (€29.90/year) or Monthly (€6.90/month) plans, or 14 days on the one-time promotional Annual offer (€24.90 for the first year, then €29.90/year). A valid payment method is required to start any trial. We authorise your card for €0.00 to verify it; nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the full plan price is charged automatically and the subscription renews at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends, from Settings or the Paddle customer portal, and you will not be charged.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax collection, invoicing, and payment method storage. You'll see “Paddle” on your card statement.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep Premium access until the end of the current paid period.

7. Refunds

Consumers in the European Union and European Economic Area have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital service contracts. The 14 days run from the day the contract is concluded — the day you subscribe — not from the day you are charged. If you start with a free trial, the period runs from the day you sign up for the trial. Because Monplat is a digital service, this right is not waived by starting to use Premium during the period. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

8. Changes to the Service

We may add, remove, or change features. If a change materially reduces paid functionality, we will offer a prorated refund on request.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monplat is provided without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
